One of our newest partners, Houston Haven, has a new home launching for cancer patients to stay in – and The Story is adopting it as our own! Here’s how you can get involved in serving with this new ministry partner:
- Work Day – Saturday, July 26 from 9-11am: We will be preparing the fully furnished home for it’s first guests! Work includes landscaping, cleaning, and other duties. Open to all ages. Waters and breakfast provided. Max 20 volunteers. Register here!
- Serving Families (Starting the week of August 15) – Team volunteers can help with delivering meals once a week to the family and connecting with them over conversations and prayer. Members of The Story’s Houston Haven team will rotate with being the ones providing meals and community as patients and their families reside in the home.
