It seemingly starts earlier every year: the stores confront us with Christmas decorations long before the first cold front arrives, the plans to visit family for the holidays start piecing together, and we start making mental notes of the “perfect gift” for each loved one. Christmas for some of us is a reminder of heartbreak, sorrow, loss, and disappointment. But this year, we want to prepare you for “The Best Christmas Ever”, one focused on why we celebrate Christmas and what Jesus’ birth means for us and our families. For six weeks leading into Advent, teacher Kathy Phillips will walk us through the beautiful Old Testament prophecies of the coming Jesus and help us take a close look at the lives surrounding the Christmas story.
This class will be on Thursdays at 10am, starting Sept. 19.
