Grand Opening October 12, 2025
After two years of planning and praying, The Story’s Timbergrove Campus will soon be launching as an autonomous congregation called The Grove Church! For the first time ever, they’ll begin hosting two Sunday services - 9:00 and 10:30am. Starting a church is a huge deal for God’s Kingdom, so here are three quick ways you can help grow The Grove:
1. Pray
Pray fervently for Pastor Kale, Kim, and the entire TGC community as they prepare to plant a church that will reach many with the Gospel for generations to come.
2. Invite
If you know anyone who lives in or near Timbergrove (ie The Heights, Oak Forest, Garden Oaks, Briar Forest, etc), let them know about The Grove Church and invite them to Opening Day on October 12!
3. GO
When launching a church, critical mass is key! This is especially true at The Grove, since they’ll also be starting a second service. We want first-time guests to experience The Grove’s vibrant atmosphere, so packing the house in the first few weeks will be important. If you’re in Houston, and you love The Story, please make plans to attend one of The Grove’s first services on October 12, 19, or 26 - 9:00 or 10:30 at 8200 Washington Avenue!
