At The Story Students, we gather to belong, grow by being equipped in God’s Word, and go to share the hope of Jesus with the world.
Everything we do features an age-appropriate curriculum that takes students through the Bible and helps them uncover answers to their biggest questions about faith and God. Each group is a safe place where students can discuss their questions with their peers and learn from our ministry staff and volunteer leaders.New to The Story? The Loft
All of our Student Ministry programs take place in The Loft - our decked-out space on the second floor with games, cozy seating, a stage equipped for large-group teaching and student-led worship, and individual rooms for Middle School & High School specific teachings and conversations. Parents are always welcome to check it out when they drop off their student for the first time!
Sunday Sessions
Sessions takes place every Sunday at 11am. All 6-12th grade students sign in at the Loft welcome table, gather to hangout in the main space and enjoy a large group activity, then head into their age-specific classrooms for a time of teaching and discussion based on the current student series (different from the sermons). Students are dismissed at 12:15pm.
Small Groups
Our small groups - divided by age and gender - meet every week for fellowship, worship, dinner, and discussion on a book of the Bible. Groups meet at the church on Wednesdays at 7pm, and are led by adult volunteers from The Story. These groups focus on building community, accountability, and long-lasting relationships that extend outside of the church walls. All groups follow a curriculum selected by our Student Ministry staff for the entire season.
Overflow
Held on the first Sunday of every month from 7-8:30pm, Overflow is a night of worship and teaching for students of all ages, starting with dinner and fellowship. Overflow is a welcoming opportunity for students to invite their friends, lay down their burdens, and experience God in a fresh way alongside their peers. Service & Special Events
