For Such a Time as This: A Vision for The Story's Future

For Such a Time as This: A Vision for The Story’s Future

Since 2015, God has been working through The Story Church to reach thousands of skeptical, nonreligious people not just through our Sunday services but through our discipleship ministries and things like the Maybe God Podcast. Our message has been consistent and clear: God’s love is real, the Bible is trustworthy and true, and nothing this world has to offer will ever compare to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We started 7 and a half years ago in River Oaks where we gathered in a gym for 2 years. Then we moved into another building on the same campus for another 5 years. Then, in May of last year, we were told we had to leave. We didn’t want to leave the River Oaks community, because this neighborhood was our original home, and the majority of our people live in close proximity to River Oaks. In the hour of our greatest need, God provided The Story with a temporary home in the Museum District. As much as we are enjoying our time there, our lease is set to expire next year, so The Story’s leaders have continued to search for our next home. We are excited to say that we’ve found it, and with this series we will explore the vision God has given us for The Story’s future at our new address!
