Our Student Ministry inspires teens to follow Jesus by walking alongside students as they ask questions about their identity, purpose, and faith.
At The Story, we have multiple classes available featuring age-appropriate curriculum that take students through the Bible and help them uncover answers to their biggest questions about faith and God. Each group is a safe place where students can discuss their questions with their peers and learn from our ministry staff and volunteer leaders.Sunday Mornings
Students are encouraged to find their friends on Sundays at 9:45am in the worship space to sit together for the sermon. We’ll have an area designated for youth so they can easily find the group each weekend. Then right after the 9:45 service, we’ll head upstairs to The Loft for Sessions - separate Sunday School groups for middle (6-8th) and high school (9-12th) students from 11am to noon. We'll start with a large group game for all students before breaking out into the two age groups for a time of teaching and discussion based on the current series.Click here to complete our first time student registration form.
Small Groups
Our small groups, divided by age and gender, meet every week for dinner, prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. Groups meet at the church at the same time and day of the week (Sundays or Wednesdays at 6:30pm), and are led by adult volunteers from The Story. These groups focus on building community, accountability, and long-lasting relationships that extend outside of the church walls. All groups follow a curriculum written by our Student Ministry staff for the entire season.
Overflow
Overflow happens on the first Sunday of every month and is designed to be the perfect place for students to invite their friends. It’s a night where we worship together, hear a message that speaks to where students are in life, and end with a high-energy big-group game. Overflow is exciting, welcoming, and a chance for students to experience God in a fresh way while having an absolute blast with their friends.
The Loft
The Loft - located on the second floor of The Story - is our dedicated space for students. Filled with cozy string lights, plenty of seating, and tons of games and activities to enjoy (including pool, pop-a-shot, board games, and more) it's our home base for all things Student Ministry. All of our programming takes place in this space, and parents are always welcome to check it out when they drop off their student for the first time!
Service & Special Events
At least once a month, we host special Service Opportunities and social events where students can come together to hang out as friends while having fun, or serve the community! To learn more about upcoming events, sign up your student above.
