River Oaks Campus

3471 Westheimer Rd.
Houston, TX 77027

Sundays at
8:30, 9:45 and 11:05am

Welcome to The Story's River Oaks campus! We are located in a free-standing building behind St. Luke's United Methodist, inside the loop. At The Story, we want you to come as you are. Jeans are totally normal, but if you like to dress up, that's cool too! Long story short, it's not important what you wear; what's in your heart is all that matters. Services are geared toward lifelong Christians and non-religious, first-time guests with lots of questions.
What are the services like?

Our services are about one hour long and include great music with a full worship band and a 30-minute message from one of our pastors. All Story campuses enjoy the same pastoral message. Services include Holy Communion (bread and juice) each week, and everyone is welcome to participate (gluten and dairy free options available).

Where do kids go?

We have programming available for children of all ages! Head to our NextGen Ministries page to view a current list of offerings at this campus.

Where can I park?

Our main parking lot is located just outside the The Story building, and there's an additional 4-level garage immediately east of our building (20 feet away). Parking is always plentiful and free.

How should I dress?

The Story is a vibrant community of people, and just like our fair city, we're a diverse bunch - especially when it comes to style. For some at The Story, "Sunday Best" means jeans and sneakers, while others might sport a more business-casual look. Long story short, it's not important what you wear; what's in your heart is all that matters.

How's the coffee?

We're a community full of coffee drinkers so you'll find great, free coffee and donuts in plentiful supply. Our coffee bar also sells lattes, iced coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks to raise money for local outreach partners, whose mission is to fight human trafficking.

How can I meet new people my first time at The Story?

Our volunteer greeters are always available at any of our entrances, to help you feel at home at The Story during your visit. Don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need, from the location of the restrooms to information about kids check-in! Also, volunteers at our "Connect" table in the lobby can help connect you to the community beyond Sunday morning through events, chapters, discipleship groups and Sunday teams.

How can I connect to the community outside of Sundays?

We have so many groups and outreach opportunities throughout the week at our River Oaks campus. Fill out the digital connect card to get plugged in today!
